Is Alfred Aho really a Finnish scientist? Or is he a scientist who received an honorary doctorate from the Helsinki University?

I would like to add link to the review and TOC of this nice book: http://simpleprogrammingtutorials.com/book.php?ISBN=0-201-00023-7 "Data Structures and Algorithms" book review and TOC on SimpleProgrammingTutorials.com. I suppose it is appropriate link, which doesn't affect wikipedia external links policy, due to following points:
When I look up the biography of somebody I expect to see family information and maybe place of birth. None of this is there for Mr. Aho; the article just focuses on his "career". It doesn't even explain where the "Aho" surname comes from. Should Wikipedia have a standard format for biographies? 2001:558:6011:1:11B7:55ED:94CC:AC2C ( talk) 21:27, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
