why does it show September 21, 2015 near the born part of the biography? Alchemista2 ( talk) 05:57, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
After ascent of El Capitan how did Alex decend this epic climb ? Wrayz ( talk) 16:00, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
I get his love for climbing but I think casual readers would like to know how he funds all of it. If he has sponsors, who are they? -- Hooperbloob ( talk) 00:52, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
With the new movie coming out and reading this wiki, I’m confused to when he actually free solo’d El Capitan first. I remembered watching him during Reel Rock Film Tour Climbing these big walls alone and even a 60 minute special. What was he climbing if he wasn’t climbing El Cap? This article which I found from the Reel Rock 7 Film says he climbed El Cap and two other big walls in 24 hours back in 2012. https://www.climbing.com/news/honnolds-biggest-baddest-solo-yet/ AdamWillis ( talk) 22:41, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
After graduating with a 4.7 GPA from Mira Loma High School in 2003...
The cited source is a YouTube video of Honnold saying, "I graduated with, like, a 4.7 or something." Let me count the ways this content is wrong. 1. A BLP subject is not a reliable source for his or her own GPA. 2. His statement is, like, vague and off-the-cuff or something. 3. In all American high schools that I'm aware of, a 4.0 GPA is perfect, so you can't have a 4.7. This is supported at Grading in education#United States.
I'm removing the GPA and just wanted to give a more thorough explanation than the space of an edit summary permits. I'm also removing the citation—even if it supports the name of the high school and the year of graduation, it's not a reliable source for that either. ― Mandruss ☎ 02:44, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
I agree with this removal. (As a small note, I'll point out that many US high schools have a system in which honors or AP classes can add an extra point, allowing for GPAs up to 5, so it's certainly possible for him to have had a 4.7 GPA. But I agree it's poorly cited, and more importantly, not really relavent.) Amalex5 ( talk) —Preceding undated comment added 03:23, 1 November 2018 (UTC)

Not claiming that his edit meets the standards for an edit though.
