Balsam fir

Is balsam fir ( Abies balsamifera) [currently in the article] a synonym to balsam fir ( Abies balsamea)? I couldn't find anything useful and didn't want to take any chances. jonkerz ♠ 11:19, 12 August 2010 (UTC) reply
