I do not have much information about this award. However, I found references to some recipients of this award. For example, see:
Feynman's bio at nobelprize.org Teller's bio at universityofcalifornia.edu
Lee's bio at ccast.ac.cn Godel's bio at answers.com - Columbia University Press Marshall Rosenbluth's bio at ucsd.edu
Wigner's bio at princeton.edu Gursey's bio at boun.edu.tr (in Turkish)
I am not sure about the year Rosenbluth got the award. (Probably 1967).

According to [1] and [2], Lee and Yang got the Albert Einstein Commemorative Award in Science of Yeshiva University, New York, so they should not be on this article. There is a confusion since there are multiple awards named after Einstein. Erkcan 16:01, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
The contributors with IP addresses 59.96.97.213 and 59.93.81.51, could you please provide some information about Sai Shyam, which you keep on adding to the article? Searching in google for the phrases "sai shyam" and einstein only return one person from/associated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, which has nothing to do with this award in physics. Leo Szilard appears to be another recipient of this award (in 1960), according to [4]. Other sources about this would be nice. Erkcan 12:58, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
This award is given once every three years (or at least it was meant to be like that as can be read from a couple of the references in the article), so Gursey entry was not solid, but to the best of my knowledge there was no other reason (like references) to remove him. However, there is now such a reference. According to [8], Gursey was indeed awarded an Einstein Medal in 1979, but not in Princeton, but in Jerusalem. So I removed him from the list of recipients. Edward R. Murrow, when he was Assistant Director of Institute of International Education (IIE), 1932-1935, received the Albert Einstein Commemorative Award. That can be read about here: The Life and Work of Edward R. Murrow [9]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulb104 ( talk • contribs) 22:53, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
In addition to those mentioned already in the article, here are a few other sources about the importance of this award:

Could someone add something to the article explaining why they stopped giving the award if it was so prestigious? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:4070:6240:108E:3BB8:A0F5:82A1 ( talk) 21:22, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
