If it's a copyright infringement it's probably from the book given as a reference. RenegadeMonster ( talk) 21:51, 3 March 2009 (UTC) reply

The book has no preview in Google Books, but the contents are searchable. I was able to search for sentence fragments and get matches that confirm that the history section was copied/closely paraphrased from the book. -- Whpq ( talk) 15:26, 31 January 2023 (UTC) reply

Theodosius

The complex may be funded by Zeno. But according to some sources the funder might also be Theodosius II (401-450). So his name should also be mentioned. Another important name is a certain Taransis who actually planned the monastery. Nedim Ardoğa ( talk) 18:46, 10 April 2010 (UTC) reply

Walking distance

I visisted the site yesterday by car. There is a narrow winding road all the way up to the complex from the main highway Karaman-Silifke. If the the text is indeed copied from a bokk, the the book is outdated in regards to this.

However, it is not unusual to mention walking distances between sites not belonging to the modern-era because this would be the way visitors would originally have accessed the site. Tiptoethrutheminefield ( talk) 20:41, 24 September 2016 (UTC) reply
