Number of domes

Hi. Good job on this article. I have a question about the infobox. The source says each passageway has a dome. Wouldn't that make the total 3 or 4 domes? - SusanLesch ( talk) 16:51, 5 March 2012 (UTC) reply

I would believe so. Unfortunately, I can't find a source that explicitly states how many domes the mosque has and the only pictures I found were of the mosque interior. This source says: "It [the mosque] includes three passageways covered with domes resting on large stonecolumns. Above the center of the prayer hall, there is a dome decorated with superb carvings and mosaic windows." From this I assumed there is one main dome and a number of smaller ones. I'm not sure how to go about that in the infobox. Do we list all of them? -- Al Ameer son ( talk) 17:16, 5 March 2012 (UTC) reply
Perhaps someday somebody will know for sure. Commented out for now. - SusanLesch ( talk) 18:29, 5 March 2012 (UTC) reply
damn, I need to see a map of this. I think I went into this place in 1995 (I raced around between the two split sections - I was trying to figure out - is the Cave of the Patriarchs (Imbrahimi mosque) split into two and then this is a third area, or is this the second area. I recall when I went there were separate jewish and muslim entrances....? Casliber ( talk · contribs) 04:31, 22 March 2012 (UTC) reply
I'm actually not too familiar with how the Ibrahimi Mosque looks like although a picture of the whole complex's ground plan would be of great use if we could find a free one online. -- Al Ameer son ( talk) 16:21, 22 March 2012 (UTC) reply
