he was most likely assimilated into turks but originally greek, according A History of the Maghrib in the Islamic Period', by Jamil M. Abun-Nasr, page 173 states, "He was an indigenized "Turk" of Greek origins, who had a Tunisian mother. Sazz10 ( talk) 22:27, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
So... if the Arabic name is just Husayn... and the French name is just Hussein... and the Tunisian form of al- is el-... wtf did the "Al-" in this guy's article name come from? Shouldn't this just be at the Tunisian form of Husayn + I + of Tunis? — LlywelynII 22:25, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
