Merging the two articles would make the absurd situation even more absurd: Akterek and Ak-Terek are about the same latitude (considereing that Akterek has rounded coordinates), but they are more than half a degree of longitude apart.

In Osh province, there are 6 statistically recognized villages named Ak-Terek:

Kara-Suu District:

Uzgen District:

• ky:Ак-Терек, Өзгөн районунун айылы in Iyri-Suu rural community
• ky:Ак-Терек (Өзгөн району) in Salamalik rural community
