I expanded the article a bit by taking more from the sources already provided. But there is no news since 2015 on this project. My quick on line search found that this group has or wants to start Akon Lights America, to expand the use of solar technologies for electricity in the US as well as in Africa. But that did not update the status in Africa. Maybe someone has better sources than I could find? -- Prairieplant ( talk) 04:02, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
