Need some more details on the condition during approach and landing -Stannis
Death count 17 persons including pilot. TintuArunav ( talk) 19:26, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
Is it only me or are others seeing a radio button on the article page?
The radio buttons say "Show map of India", "Show map of Kerala", "Show All".
Can someone check it and fix it as required?
Thanks, Ktin ( talk) 20:27, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
Flight and crash showing runway 10 as final approach runway. Does not seem correct from the visuals available online. It was indded runway 28 and skidded towards the approach of runway 10. The line– On the second attempt on runway 10, the aircraft touched down near taxiway C, which is approximately 1,000 m (3,300 ft) from the beginning of the 2,860 m (9,380 ft) runway., only includes one varifiable citation, need more, if anyone can confirm it, it would be good for the article. Thank you. Drat8sub ( talk) 12:00, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

ArnabSaha, please self revert this edit, and the edit summary would be erroneous as mos:lead does not tell to remove citations all together from lead rather the guideline actually says to keep citation for possibly challenged material, and the citations used in the lead here for statistical and challenging materials like "into a 9–10.5-metre (30–35-foot)"...."broke into three pieces"...."second most deadly accident involving Air India Express"...."which killed 158 people". So, citations are necessary for the lead. However, no need to restore the previously removed multiple citation added for a single line, would not be necessary. Thank you. Drat8sub ( talk) 16:23, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
can this be called a scheduled flight? it was a repatriation flight from dubai to kerala. ❯❯❯ S A H A 19:22, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
ArnabSaha, as mentioned in your talk page, remove the part if you can't describe the same thing in the article with RS. Keep if you can do the same. Drat8sub ( talk) 20:49, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
The disaster cats & DM banner have been removed. What's the threshold for inclusion? Jim Michael ( talk) 11:30, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
A sudden accident or a natural catastrophe that causes great damage or loss of life.,
An event or fact that has unfortunate consequences.-- qedk ( t 愛 c) 16:06, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
Indeed a disaster, when there is so many loss of life in a such a short period. And aviation accidents are often considered disaster in itself since, each civil aircraft atleast cost US$100M or more, and this one is 450M, a huge economic loss for sure. A famous example Green Ramp disaster. Why it's been removed? This is also a case of Engineering disaster along with anthropogenic or man made disaster. Drat8sub ( talk) 23:23, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Everything mentioned in this article against calicut airport safety measures refered with this month newsapaper publications. please go and try to find the base of the news published ...that means fact of the information you provided.
for example I quoted below some information which taken from the source of the air india webistes.
AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA website says "The aerodrome is licensed for use in IFR (all weather) condition" to see the statement scroll to "DETAILS OF PRKG" point No.3 [1]
note the website link mentioned above says the fact of the weather condition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaarnaz ( talk • contribs) 08:15, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
According to Flight Plan an alternate airport is to be indicated, which in this case can be Kannur 60 miles up north and 12 to 15 minutes away. It is common knowledge that Kozhikode runway will have standing water during monsoon Landing at Kannur after the failure of first attempt is the safer option I thank you 122.166.185.5 ( talk) 13:06, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
