Both this article and the companion article
Mughal Artillery are based on a single 1903 book. The creator of these two articles has contributed only minor items to other articles about Indian subcontinent history. I have tagged these two articles for several problems, but really only rewriting will suffice to bring these two articles up to Wikipedia standards of historical articles.
Although the article was re-tagged (without a reason) in December 2012, the prose in many places remains incomprehensible to a native English speaker. Copyediting and rewriting are two different things.
