There were several queens named Ahmose. I suggest that we make this a disambiguation page with links to articles on the various queens. -- JCarriker 20:59, Apr 3, 2004 (UTC)
Well, there is no explicit statement in both pages that the names were used interchangeably to refer to one person. But based on the description of these supposedly different individuals (mother of Hatshepsut, wife of Thutmose I), then likely, the articles are just referring to the same person. Moreover, an article about a pharaoh (I think it was Ahmose I, or his wife Ahmose-Nefertari) discusses Aahmes being a granddaughter. And this same description is found on this page. So that also affirms it. Joey80 14:09, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
"It is not known who Ahmose's father and mother were. "
It would seem that we have a family tree preserved in Manetho's book of Sothis; it implies Siamun , son of Kamose, as her father.
