This article is completely about "Agriculture in ancient Tamilnadu", but it does not speak anything about the "Mallar" who are mentioned in all the Tamil literature as the people of "Marutham" land and they were the agriculturist. Separate poems were written about these people about their life and agriculture in Tamil literature like "Pallu" poetry. This article totally boycotting these people who were credited in Tamilnadu as the people who were doing agriculture from sangam ages to present day. Tamil1988 ( talk) 06:57, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
"Ancient Tamil country" is not an encyclopedic term. If it refers to the present day state of Tamil Nadu then it should mention " .. in ancient Tamil Nadu". If it includes the state of Tamil Nadu and Kerala then the title should be such. The present tile is not only misleading it is also political. Indoscope ( talk) 08:41, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
