The picture on the AeroPlan card shows the name of one "Joe Kickass", while I'm sure there maybe someone who does have this name with an AeroPlan card I find it more likely it was Photoshop'd to appear as such and might be better adjusted to a more standard example name like "Joe Smith". 142.177.244.188 ( talk) 03:11, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
I've done a quick bit of clean up on a few sections and removed an unsourced and I think inaccurate claim on increasing volume of redemptions. That being said, it would be encyclopaedic to add some information on the devaluation of Aeroplan points and resultant backlash, provided someone can find reasonable references. They are amply discussed at flyertalk.com and elsewhere, but I've tried and can't find a credible, non-crowdsourced, non-primary source. Information which would be of relevance:
What is encyclopaedic here is not as much the details of each and every policy change, but the overall devaluation of benefits and related backlash and other response by members, especially frequent travellers. Martinp ( talk) 02:52, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
Have re-removed an executive email address in the infobox that I removed a few months ago, and an IP reinstated yesterday without explanation. I feel such email addresses are unencyclopaedic - they do not inform *about* Aeroplan, but instead I assume are intended as "cookie crumbs" for someone who wants to complain to Aeroplan. That is fine, but that's not what WP is about. There are privacy implications. If IP (or others) continue to want to include it, would propose that it be sourced and/or discussed here. If they've changed the corporate name to "Aimia", shouldn't we change the article title too? — OwenBlacker ( Talk) 12:56, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on

my edit. If necessary, add {{

after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{

to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
