I don't see any timescale for this happening? The government document is itself billed as "A summary of proposals to introduce the Advanced British Standard, a new Baccalaureate-style qualification for 16 to 19 year olds.".
Given that a general election is looming, it seems very unlikely for the government being able to implement this before then. Is there an actual planned roll-out time, or is this really just an aspirational discussion document? —
