Although he himself was involved with the scandal does he belong in the category? Perhaps it would be better if he was linked on the Iran-Contra page? - Derktar 00:59, Feb 3, 2005 (UTC)
Under History it states "Adnan Khashoggi continues to live a quiet life in the Principality of Monaco, even though a warrant for his arrest was issued in the Court of Her Majesty the Queen of England in the amount of 7 Million sterling pounds.". That is incorrect, as England is only a territory of the U.K. even though the government seat is located there the official title of the her majesty's government is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland so it should read "A warrant for his arrest was issued in the Court of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland." Samira's page states she was his younger sister. However, on her article, her birth year is stated as 1935, and that she died in March 1986, aged 51; meaning she would have been born in the first quarter of 1935, ie before him. There is also the issue that it is extremely unlikely that he could have been born so soon after her, if they had the same mother as well as the same father. One or both of their birthdates must be wrong. P Cezanne ( talk) 16:56, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Some weeks ago I added details on some alleged dealings on Khashoggi with Israel and Iranian monarchists, cited in Ariel Sharon's autobiography, noting the page where they can be found. Somebody removed this. Is there any reason for such removal? Aussiesta ( talk) 08:59, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
This is it. I will put it back if there's no objection: "In the early 1980s, Khashoggi was involved in facilitating talks between Sudan and Israel , according to Ariel Sharon’s autobiography Warrior [1]. Sharon claims that, during a meeting with Sudanese president Gaafar al-Nimeiry, Khashoggi presented a proposal to depose the Islamic regime of Iran, crafted by Riza Pahlavi, the eldest son of the exiled Sha of Iran. Under the plan, Pahlavi’s supporters would raise a monarchist army that would train in Sudan, with Saudi financing, and then attack Iran using Israeli weapons. Sharon wrote that he agreed to “clarify” issues related to the plan in a subsequent meeting with Khashoggi to be held in Alexandria , Egypt, but the meeting never took place because Israel was by then involved in Lebanon‘s Civil War."
