Your article merely sketches some of the broader and overly critical implications of AMF activity in the Congo at the time of Laurent Kabila's rise to power. Actually, events, circumstances and AMF's official and unofficial roles are all highly complex and this firm should not be assigned what appears, in your article, to be significant responsibility for the fate of exiled Hutus in the DRC, in exchange for mining concession rights.
The section on African Operations is mine, I have sources but I have yet to figure out how to cite things properly.
