Life after retirement

In Bernard Shaw: Collected Letters 1874–1897 (New York: Dodd, Mead and Co., 1965) the following passage occurs among the notes on a letter of 28 January 1890 to Charles Charrington:

"Ada Rehan (1860–1916), Irish comedienne, emigrated to America where she was leading lady to Augustin Daly for many years. After her retirement, she became companion to the American poet Amy Lowell."

To judge from entries in the English WP, the last sentence is incorrect and the result of confusion between Rehan and Ada Dwyer Russell. Harfarhs ( talk) 03:58, 20 December 2021 (UTC) reply
