One question: Is Kinoo grown in Abohar, India? According to the internet http://www.jang.com.pk/thenews/investors/nov2003/if.htm it is only grown in Pakistan? Thank you.--Francisco Valverd e 20:13, 20 January 2006 (UTC) ^ Yes, Kinoo is grown in Abohar. In fact, Abohar is VERY famous for the production of kinoos. I read it on Organic Vegetable Gardening website if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for your corrections and making it even beautiful. Apropos to your query, this region is very close to Pakistan (some 40 Km, maybe less) and Kinno is also grown here. Moreover, this variety was developed in Abohar itself! -- Sunil Sangwal, 195.150.224.236 20:56, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
Question:Please tell the name of village because of which Abohar remained in a Punjab state in 1966 ? --bhupinder singh

What does Abohar, and other names in the article Abohar mean?
When I created this article for the first time, I had not noticed that it will be so badly edited. Now I feel like erasing it altogether. What is the sense in putting the names of local politicians and almost unknown people? There are schools in every nook and corner of Abohar. Is this article supposed to contain the names of all those? Inserting the names of some chai-wala's (tea sellers, like Chacha...) is equally embarrassing. Sunil 13:27, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
Psuprof 17:01, 6 September 2007 (UTC)I agree with deletion of the section on personalities, unless they are really famous or have done something great. I am also surprised that someone would put in the names of local shops.
Do not revert the changes that have been made to this article back to the previous version. I have wikified the article by deleting the Transportation and Tourism sections of the article due their overtly detailed nature, terrible formatting and numerous grammatical errors. The information that is currently presented in the article organized and does not contain unnecessary facts, such as a list of 20 educational facilities in the area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sioschico ( talk • contribs) 04:58, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
I am disappointed to see someone has reverted the changes I made. Since the person obviously is not a native speaker of English, the article remains filled with ridiculous errors. I recommend this article be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sioschico ( talk • contribs) 18:35, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
I rewrote the article, eliminating unnecessary detail - there was very little to delete. There is a lot of good information provided and there is no need for anyone to think-- User:Brenont ( talk) 16:16, 12 August 2009 (UTC) it deserves deletion.
