Lead

Background and composition

  • "follows the chord progression C-Gm-Dm-F" →follows the chord progression of C-Gm-Dm-F. Also chords should be linked with en dashes, not hyphens.
 Done
  • "the song contrasts with its "tender lyrics."" - contrasts what with lyrics?
 Done
  • Who produced the song?

Critical reception

  • I think Lamb's comments should be together
I split it up because end-of-year lists and awards are generally placed at the end of the reception section whereas comments from single/album reviews are at the beginning. Candy o32 20:50, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply
OK, then you just need his last name the second time. Adabow ( talk · contribs) 21:46, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply

Chart performance

  • "It achieved greater success on the main chart in Canada" - why "on the main chart"? I think you should remove
 Done
  • "The song sold 586,541 copies in Usa." - Usa→US, source?
Sorry about that, I guess a fan added that. Candy o32 20:50, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply
  • "The song has been certified Gold in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipments of 500,000 copies." - no citation here

Music video

  • The first sentence is a bit fluffy. How about "The music video, directed by Chris Dooley, was shot on location in Lucerne Valley, California and premiered on September 3, 2010..."?
  • Selena Gomez→Gomez
Done.
  • Bill Lamb→Lamb
Since he's not the main subject of the article and techinically being reintroducted in this section, shouldn't his full name and what he's writing for be noted again?
Hmm, not sure, I'll leave it to you. Adabow ( talk · contribs) 21:49, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply

Live performances

  • Gomez and the Scene→Selena Gomez & the Scene as this is their official name
Done. Candy o32 20:50, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply
  • "They performed the song on January 5, 2011, and afterwards awarded the Choice award for Favorite Breakout Artist" - needs a complete rewrite. The context is not given
Done. Candy o32 20:50, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply

Release history

  • Mention the Spanish version
Would it be fine to leave it in the context as adding would need another column specifying what version of the song is being released, and taking into consideration that the release history isn't even a part of WP:SONGS. Before I revamped the article the release history was already here. Candy o32 20:50, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply

On hold for seven days. Adabow ( talk · contribs) 02:07, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply

I am satisfied with improvements, the article now meets criteria, so I am passing. Adabow ( talk · contribs) 22:03, 21 April 2011 (UTC) reply
