Chapter four, "The Survivor", is not set in the future. The "history" part of the book's title should have made this fact quite obvious. It's a fictional story surrounding the real world Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident in 1986. There is also no outline of the third chapter, "The Wars of Religion".
