The term "Assault Rifle" is made up term by the US mainstream media to throw any select fire or semi auto rifle based on military designs into an area of emotional fear. There is not a single legal definition of assault rifle. Please change the terminology, as it has no legal basis. There is enough irrational fear of firearms already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.76.230.184 ( talk • contribs)
