I am unfortunately unable to add this information to the main article, as it is protected and I lack the proper credentials to do so. However, there is an interesting "post-script" to the Genie's career that I think deserves some coverage in its Wikipedia article. Following its retirement from use as a missile, a handful of Genies were modified into research drones for the purpose of performing aerial sampling of above-ground nuclear tests. Following their mission, the drones would deploy a parachute and be recovered in midair by a C-130 Hercules transport. At least five of these modified Genies were launched. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 135.135.227.26 ( talk) 17:29, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
