Image:AIKcrest.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

See User talk:Djsasso/Archive 5#AIK Move for initial request.
Suggest you start a WP:Requested move if you still mean it should be moved. Regards, lil2mas ( talk) 00:08, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
After further diggin' I've found something interesting on AIK.se/Ishockey ( translated). The article says that AIK IF is in charge of all operations except for the Elitserien team, which is an own team/entity (search for AIK in the Swedish business register, you get AIK Ishockey ( AB), as well as AIK Fotboll & AIK Innebandy among the results).
This article is 99% about the Elitserien team, called AIK Ishockey, not the youth ice hockey departments of the club, called AIK IF. Hence, I believe this article should still be called AIK Ishockey. AIK IF could be created as an own article about the youth department, but I don't think it is notable enough! lil2mas ( talk) 20:55, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I've moved the article back to AIK Ishockey, mainly because of an e-mail reply I got from a person in the AIK Ishockey (organization?). He said that AIK Ishockey is the name of the club and suggested that should also be the name of the article, no matter which country or language we are talking about. / Hey Mid ( contributions) 17:22, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

AIK (ice hockey) → AIK IF — I agree with Krm500 and DJSasso in the first discussion; AIK IF is the abbreviation of "Allmänna Idrottsklubben Ishockeyförening", which is the full name of the club. But "Allmänna Idrottsklubben Ishockeyförening" is too long for an article name, so I suggest (like Krm500 and DJSasso) that "AIK IF" should be the name of this article. I'm not going to review this article (I feel articles should be assessed by people that don't know the game), but I will copy edit a bit. Here are some issues I see.
Good luck on your GA review! – Schmloof ( talk · contribs) 08:33, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
Here's an article from NHL.com that provides a North American look at AIK. Take a look, I see tons of useful stuff in there. – Schmloof ( talk · contribs) 01:24, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

I will do an initial review in the next few hours.
Reviewer: Taiwantaffy ( talk) 05:16, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
OK, here is the initial review, according to the numbers on the Good Article criteria page.
1 (a): Article prose is clear and concise
I won't point out everything that needs revising according to this criterion, as there are many instances. The article really needs a thorough copy-edit by a native English speaker - perhaps ask for help in Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey.
1 (b): Article complies with the Manual of Style
2 (a): References to all sources
2 (b): Inline citations to reliable sources
2 (c): Contains no original research
3 (a): Addresses the main aspects of the topic
3 (b): Stays focused on the topic
So, it's not quite ready yet for Good Article status. My suggestions for how to proceed would be (in chronological order):
I think the contributors have done a great job to bring the article to where it is now, but a little more work is needed. I'll put the article review on hold for now.
Taiwantaffy ( talk) 06:30, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
In the infobox, the city of Stockholm links to Stockholm, but in the lead it links to Stockholm County. In both cases I think we should link to Stockholm. The county is mentioned in the Stockholm article, and it doesn't make sense linking to the county, especially given the fact that Stockholm is the capital of Sweden, as well as that Stockholm is mentioned alot more often than the county it's located in. Hey Mid ( contribs) 20:30, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Several times now, I've had my edits reverted when I've removed the reference to AIK as "AIK Stockholm". This is listed with only one source: a pair of NHL articles. Putting "AIK Stockholm" at the top of the article in bold seems to be giving the name completely undue weight IMO. Just cause the NHL decided to add "Stockholm" to a Swedish hockey team in two articles doesn't make it an alternative name, it would seem to me. Thoughts? — SwedishPenguin | Talk 20:48, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of AIK IF's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
