The name of the club in current official site WITHOUT SPACE. [1] The club as a company has a hyphen (AC Chievo-Verona srl). Please start a proposed move to prove alleged A.C. Chievo Verona. Matthew_hk t c 12:40, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia's policy on article titles.I have absolutely no idea why this article was moved to Chievo Verona. A simple search of the Serie A website legaseriea.it as well as the Chievo website shows that the proper form is ChievoVerona, one word. Obviously therefore I propose that it be changed back. @ Italia2006: The club's official website shows it without a space as provided by Matthew_hk above... I don't know why this page was moved either... it should be moved back. Vaselineeeeeeee ★★★ 23:01, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
@ Italia2006: I didn't even have to request a move, I tried it myself and it wasn't blocked. We should probably move its season articles and change some links to without the space, but maybe lets wait a couple days to see if anyone opposes this? But I mean, it is their official name according to their website. Vaselineeeeeeee ★★★ 00:35, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
@ Italia2006: Sounds like a plan. Obviously the first to tackle are Chievo's season articles, but there is also a cool feature to the left of articles under tools "what links here" which would be useful in knowing where links to Chievo's page are. There are a bunch of pages that link to Chievo, but I doubt we will be able to do it for all of them. It's like when Eder (Italian footballer) was moved; there are undoubtedly links to his page that use the old article name. Regards, Vaselineeeeeeee ★★★ 16:40, 15 August 2016 (UTC) @ Italia2006: Should we start now? Vaselineeeeeeee ★★★ 20:17, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
@ Italia2006: If tomorrow somebody rebrands Real Madrid to RealMadrid and Manchester United to ManchesterUnited, will you also start treating these names as "one word"? Even that is a misunderstanding, because if it is really a single word, then it should be written "Chievoverona", without the capitalised letter in the middle. You can't have it both ways. The name clearly consists of the name of the club ("Chievo") and the name of the city in which it was based ("Verona") - I cannot see under what logic these elements can be merged into one. Not only that but such a form with a capital letter in the middle without space or dash does not exist in the standard use of any language, only in the fanciful output of legal/marketing staff who like to style brands this way for reasons that be. Such renamings have nothing to do with football and all with business gimmicks. Can you imagine a fan shouting the name Chievoverona in one breath? It makes no sense to accept this pretentious styling, which is neither really one word nor correct by the rules of any language. VampaVampa ( talk) 20:16, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
