The facts:
Although the new league took the name of the old APSL, some sources consider the A-League to have been absorbed by the USISL Select League. [3] After all, the combined league continued to be operated by USISL, the SL commissioner became the combined league commissioner, and a majority of the leagues clubs came from USISL.
So clearly the old A-League's 1995 and 1996 seasons do not belong in this article but I think the 1996 USISL Select League season does. Does anyone have thoughts on this? BLAIXX 14:17, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
