The article says "Less noise, because it had no wheels and so transmitted less vibration to the track.[3]" but at high speed isn't aerodynamic noise the dominant problem with high speed trains, not "wheel squeal"? Also the Aerotrain had blowers for levitation that must have been a source of considerable noise. This was definitely a problem on the Rohr Aerotrain.
