Text and/or other creative content from 602d Bombardment Squadron was copied or moved into 902d Air Refueling Squadron on February 20, 2014. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

The 602d Bombardment Squadron was consolidated into the 902d in 1985. The 602d article is rated as a stub, and this article's history of the squadron's history during World War II is more complete, and is fully referenced.
