Origins subsection includes description from the official goarmy rangers website. However the paragraph on the civil war is missing. This is confusing as the last sentence starts with "After the civil war", however the civil war is never mentioned. include the full origin history of the rangers according to their own webpage") is something that would be more suited to one of the related articles noted/linked above. If anything, this page could use some slimming down. - wolf 02:03, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
You're the only one that seems to have problem with it. But, that said, you alluded to adding some substantial historical content, and to that end, (as I've already asked), have you considered editing the articles related to this page, such as;
Or even a new article, such as: History of Rangers in the United States (or something similar), that would draw from all three Ranger articles, plus any other US military articles as needed, for a single, linear and comprehensive historical timeline? There's almost 300 years to cover. This of course depends on how much effort you are considering putting into this. But anyway, if this page keeps growing, it's the history section that will likely get forked off. But, as I said, I only ask because you mentioned it. - wolf 05:59, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
