Lost Comet

Is there a source that declares this comet as lost? The source provided doesn't state any observations after 1988, but doesn't state that this comet is lost, which the article states.

It is listed at the Minor Planet Center as lost comet 75D/Kohoutek. -- Kheider ( talk) 14:01, 2 June 2015 (UTC) reply
Hi Kheider. I checked your source. Lots of orbital information with observation dates, but it doesn't use the term "lost". I'm not sure the term "lost" is something that's verifiable. Benkenobi18 ( talk) 04:23, 17 June 2015 (UTC) reply
But the "D/" designation means the comet is believed to be lost or destroyed. -- Kheider ( talk) 08:37, 17 June 2015 (UTC) reply
