User:Don.H.40 this page is way too long. You need to remove the trivia. For each year it should only detail major operations, key statistics and aircraft losses, not every trivial mission flown. Mztourist ( talk) 03:37, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
I have deleted some personnel strength information and awards information, and will look to doing some streamlining. I figured it was better to add and then subtract than to go light and then try and add more later. As to your other comments about major operations and aircraft losses, it was a six-ship detachment that was employed on an area basis--as were all subsequent Dustoff units in the war (less the two units organic to the 101st Airborne Division and the 1st Cavalry Division (airmobile))--and a key statistic for an aeromedical evacuation unit is number of missions flown, hours flown, and patients evacuated.
