twiste rate

Does/did the .22 savage really have a 1:12 twist? This would be a little bit too long for the typical 71 grs bullet. All .22 Savage / 5.6x52R rifles I have ever seen had twist rates between 1:10 and 1:11 ...-- 82.83.56.94 ( talk) 08:43, 15 January 2012 (UTC) reply

.22 Savage

CIP specs lists the Savage and the 5.6x52R as separate cartridges with small differences in dimensions as well as a difference in nominal twist rate. It would be useful to discuss these differences in the article.

Article Name

Since the .22 Savage was the original and the 5.6x52R the copy, I think this article should be named after the Savage with the 5.6 redirecting to it, not the other way around.
