Vodafone Live is not 3's only 3G rival, O2 Ireland have been providing 3G services for over 1 year using their O2 Active and exclusive iMode brand - where content is available free of charge.
Its also worth stating that O2's 3G service does not support video calling for a number of reasons:
1: No demand for service
2: Other operators lost a lot of money providing this service which is rarely used
3: The real benefits of 3G are not video calling but excellent calling services and faster internet speeds
I realise that it is definetly the code for 3, but why is 083 it's code? What about 084, was it skipped for a reason, or did 3 request 083, cause I think it's worth mentioning. - Gerbon689 15:08, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
Theres no order, they requested 083 simply because there name is 3, such as how they launched in the UK on the 3/3/03, also digiweb mobile are taking 088 and tesco mobile are taking 084 —Preceding
