Is it just me, or is Citation Bot used way too much on this page?
Since mid-May Citation Bot has been used on this page almost every single day, always to fix very few citations. Previously, the bot was used more sparingly, and when it did, it fixed multiple citations at once. I believe that overuse of this bot clogs up the page history, so I tried remedying this by adding {{nobots}} twice, but was reverted both times by
Anomie. Pinging
Susmuffin, who seems to be one behind the contast use.

Rather than blocking the bot from arbitrary pages you care about, IMO it would be better to talk with
Susmuffin about using the bot more comprehensively and less frequently. Assuming the regular editors here even agree that it "clogs up the page history" more than normal editing to tweak content does.

The bot responds to new information that was added to databases, so its use on a category tends to affect all pages within it. This page is frequently in a tracking category for CS1 errors. Currently, it is in three of them. It would be very useful if the presumably dynamic IP address made an account, as it is impossible to be certain if they are the same person who commented on my talk page three hours ago or not. These accounts have very few edits, so I am assuming that they are one person, but I cannot be entirely certain of it. ―
