The area affected was only very small Derbyshire and Yorkshire and UK floods is a very vague term and could cause confusion, Would it not be more reasonable to name the page - 2019 Northern England floods or - 2019 Yorkshire floods — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.37.192.227 ( talk) 19:51, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

2019 Yorkshire floods → 2019 England floods – The current title is potentially confusing as the topic it discusses affected a much wider area of England than Yorkshire alone. This information is also reflected in the article, where floods in the East Midlands, South East England and South West England are also discussed at length. The page was previously moved from 2019 Yorkshire floods to 2019 England floods on 14 November, with a similar reasoning that other parts of England has been affected. But this was reverted without discussion, and with no reason given for the move, on 24 November (see move log for the page). This is Paul ( talk) 18:33, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
A map of areas affected would be useful. 93.136.62.99 ( talk) 18:14, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
There was flooding in north Staffordshire (and Cheshire) at the end of October, with rail disruptions. Should this be included in the sequence?

This article is about floods. Does information on the Chertsey tornado belong here? 81.131.132.129 ( talk) 14:57, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
