@ Bs1jac: where are you getting the scores from? Human ( talk) 09:46, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
As of today, all scores (team totals and overs) for men's matches and results (winner/loser) for women's matches are according to personal communication from Malawi cricket. Batters/bowlers will need to be added/checked later, as will debuts. They were hopeful that scorecards will be on cricinfo fairly soon. Bs1jac ( talk) 20:50, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
Hi all. I have updated the men's details based on really nicely presented Excel sheets from the organizers that we have sourced. Basically Pitch Vision details are garbage, as we suspected! Ahead of the cards appearing in Cricinfo, I wanted to clarify a few players whose names are consistently different in the scorecards provided by the organizer compared to existing player profiles in Cricinfo. Of course Cricinfo might create duplicate profiles, but who knows. In match 1, Bernardo Sambo is listed as DNB at No. 10, while Zefanias Matsinhe is missed off the batting card despite bowling. As Sambo didn't bowl or catch, he is likely a mistake on that XI so have omitted for now. We can check all these according to CI later.
Malawi
1) Zaid Nurji is not yet in CI but was listed as such in all Excel sheets (in the squad announcement from Malawi he was listed as Mohammed Nurji); I have used what is in the sheet.
2) Irfan Patel is on match 1 Excel sheet, but is listed as Mahammed Irfan Ali Patel (Mahammed Patel) in CI so I have used that.
Mozambique
1) Captain in Cricinfo and the squad announcement is Syed Shah, but in the Excel sheet he is Kaleem Shah. I have used what is in CI. CI have now removed the Syed Shah profile and replaced with Kaleem Shah (full name: Syed Kaleem Raza Shah)
2) Sanatana Dima in CI is likely a mispelling as the squad and Excel sheets say Santana Dima. I have stuck with CI for now even though it is likely a mistake. I asked Cricinfo to correct this spelling and they have done so.
3) Imran Ismail in CI (full name Imran Ismail Mohammad Ikheriya), but Imran Ikheriya on the Excel sheets; sticking with CI short form for now.
4) Damiao Couana (full name Francis Damiao Couana) in Cricinfo is regularly referred to in the Excel cards as Francisco Couana which is likely correct but I have stuck with the CI profile name. Bs1jac ( talk) 12:39, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
@ Bs1jac, Lugnuts, and Ankurc.17: Don't know what's taking CI so long if they got the spreadsheet. I also wonder how ICC got the scores before CI; they are usually lazy. And yes the T10 league actually got better coverage than some associate serieses unfortunately because of the so called 'big names' involved. Human ( talk) 23:11, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
