I don't understand why other users keep on uploading the same file I already uploaded, but with another name. It's nonsense, and if you fix anything you should upload it under the same name to give me the credits of uploading base file for. Current version of
File:2019 FIFA Club World Cup.svg fixes a couple of mistakes I did unintentionally and you didn't even notice (the big one being the misplacement of the second F's border, which was near the third coloured dot, counting from above). --

Flix11 and
Yogwi21. There's also an extended explanation
here. Personally I don't quite see why we'd use a SVG at all. FIFA seems to be using PNG or JPEG; why should we use a different file format instead of using the logo as published on their own website, eg
here or
here, cropped to remove the sponsorship if necessary (no opinion on whether that is necessary)? That would immediately and authoritatively resolve all the issues about misplacements, colours and the like, and since there's no need to edit an official logo, being non-editable is not a problem here. Since according to
Genericool crediting the original uploader is desirable, we should go with the file name under which the logo was uploaded first; that'd be
File:2019 FIFA Club World Cup emblem.png.

@
Huon: I'm not very familiar with image policy but I think
this page states that "images composed of simple shapes, lines, and letters such as those below should be recreated using vector graphics as an SVG file". I can't find an actual policy or guideline page to support this, but I assume that it is reflective of current consensus. I'm not sure what counts as being "composed of simple shapes, lines, and letters", but there are pretty complicated logos listed in that category, so perhaps this logo should be recreated in SVG too.

I don't see how this logo constitutes "simple shapes, lines and letters". I mean, if you strip down any image, especially a modern, computer-designed logo, to its bare bones you'll get only a few simple lines and shapes, but this logo looks too complex to me to be recreated as an SVG. –

When there'a a dispute about which recreation has fewer errors or is otherwise more appropriate, maybe it's not so simple after all.

Sorry to both @

Yogwi21:, for the logo disputes in 2019 FCWC and 2020 Copa America. I would like to upload Yogwi21's to Genericool's to show my good will but was rejected because the SVG code is empty, like Genericool's.

It's worth mentioning that there are PNG images embedded into the file, so it is not a "true" SVG. I'd agree with Huon to use the original file, which is half the size of the SVG.

S.A. Julio was right on both topics. Old file had PNG embedded (not my fault, as it was result of the mask effect used by FIFA designer). Size were double than the (now deleted) PNG file. So, today I published a new version of
File:2019 FIFA Club World Cup.svg as per the new version of
Match Calendar. It comes from an official source and addresses both issues found on my previous file. Should we use it? --
