Guys we can not be making up records as it is original research, if it is a notable record then some media organisation or someone noteworthy (eg Jeff Masters) will probably mention it. I also have to have a nag about general links like http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/data/raw/wt/wtpq20.rjtd..txt or http://www.jma.go.jp/en/typh/ that i have just stripped from the article because we can not use them to back up what we are saying since they are overwritten every time a new advisory is issued. This is why we have webcites of the links and the logs above. Jason Rees ( talk) 17:09, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
Can anyone help me put a citation need tag? All that text isn't even sourced!-- ✯Earth100✯ (talk✉) 05:24, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
My edit reverted but 13W did make landfall in China, so it should affect China. Why China is not included?

It is so tempting to merge Unala with the Other Storms section since it only existed in the WPAC for 12 hours. What do other people think? Jason Rees ( talk) 16:01, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
WIS Portal – GISC Tokyo is very useful, as you can check all JMA warnings since September 2011. -- Meow 08:08, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
Good, i agree.-- ✯Earth100✯ (talk✉) 05:12, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
I did not know that this also provides Best Tracks since September 2011! They are the same to NOAA’s. -- Meow 02:32, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
What happened to the NRL track data for Wutip, Sepat and Fitow? The data is frozen at 28 September 00Z. Wave32 ( talk) 08:40, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
What would people think of widening the coverage of this map, say to --xmin 125

17:24, 7 September 2013 (UTC)The JMA reported that a tropical depression formed at 18Z on 31 December 2012. Should it belong to the 2012 article or this 2013 article? -- Meow 04:49, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
There is one problem with putting Sonamu into the 2012 Other Storms section which is that we do not currently have a source stating that Sonamu existed during 2012. Jason Rees ( talk) 05:03, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
I don't know where did TD38 formed. It doesn't say anything on TD38. Is it near the International Dateline? Typhoon2013 ( talk) 05:58, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
Phalin maybe worthy of a section depending on the Thai impact while the IDL one should be relegated as it were. Jason Rees ( talk) 11:28, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
How was Pabuk a severe tropical storm if it was a category 2 equivalent typhoon? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.155.12.101 ( talk • contribs)
Seems like we're having a disagreement on the intensity of Tropical Depression Wilma. [2] JTWC has it at 30 knots. This will stand until the best track is released. Supportstorm ( talk) 18:05, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
I do not see why we need to give the PAGASA names any special treatment by noting that Wilma was 30W in the title or put brackets around Bising. Its fine to put the names in brackets if the system is named by the JMA but when the only designation is the name or when the JTWC have given it a number. Do you think that we should put the remnants of Tropical Depression Wilma on the 2013 North Indian ocean cyclone season? See Tropical Depression Durian in the 2006 North Indian Ocean cyclone season. Typhoon2013 ( talk) 04:16, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
Do we need to put Tropical Depression 03C in the Storms section or in the Other Storms section? What do you think? Typhoon2013 ( talk) 23:59, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
Many of the IPs are adding way too much crap to this article. I have seen unreferenced, yet false info being added, plenty of WP:OR, and other potentially fake info being added to this article. I had to revert much of it multiple times over, and I am fed up with it. I think that it is time that we take this case to an Admin and have them semi-protect the page, so that the editing will be more controlled. LightandDark2000 ( talk) 18:52, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
Is it now ready to put the text back again which I created? If you don't know what I'm talking about, please see the View history button on the 2014 Pacific typhoon. Typhoon2013 ( Talk) 02:51, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
I am just a little bit concerned about with no other tropical depression tracks on the map. Is anyone still editing the map? But it is still ok to leave it until the season ends and add the other tracks. Typhoon2013 ( talk) 06:22, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Lets collaborate on this article. Needs some improvement and a few more sources... ..ItsPaide.. 16:34, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
There is a damage currently for Fitow, at approx ~972,000,000 USD; Maybe that can change. We all know AON Benfield. Well, according to the October 2013 Global Catastrophe recap which most people are not aware about, it cites Fitow as causing 6.7 billion dollars USD of economic losses, and Nari as 158 million (and Cyclone Phailin at 1.1 billion.) Also wipha at 100,000,000+ USD
"The Ministry of Civil Affairs (MCA) cited economic losses at CNY 41 billion (USD 6.7 billion)"
^Typhoon Fitow quote
What do you think? We know there is already an estimate, but should we use this one? I haven't seen a citation for Fitow on the season effects. ..ItsPaide.. 00:01, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
