Firstly, I see that Refs 12 and 13 are the same (cite the same website). You fix this by using <ref name=rivals>Reference goes here...</ref> for the first instance and <ref name=rivals/> afterwards.
Well, #12 is the offensive statistics subpage and #13 is the defense...
there only seems to be one ref in the lead. I think the MO here is ref all of it or none, but not 33% of it.
I agree, however this ref was included because it's the only instance within the article where it's mentioned that this is the first bowl...I thought it was worthy of being cited, but there was nowhere else to do so.
Second lead para might need some numbers for total offense, not just rushing yards.
