The infobox got removed and the following edit summary provided as justification for its removal: "infobox doesn't really provide any concise summary; just date, incumbent, winner and loser"
Providing the date, incumbent, winner and loser of an election sounds like a good summary to me. In addition, the infobox also provided a link to the current contest, and can provide a link to the previous leadership election when somebody writes that article. So all in all, these are useful things to have provided through an infobox, and I thus suggest that it be restored.
