"The races at Homestead and at the International Speedway Corporation tracks were removed from the schedule following the 2010 season." Link the 2010 season.
"Franchitti was eighteen points ahead of Power, retaking the championship points lead from him with a second-place finish at Kentucky Speedway two weeks previously." Possible you could link that race?
"The race's honorary grand marshal was skateboarder Tony Hawk, who gave the command to start engines." Isn't it "to start the engines" or am I mistaken?
Can you add the details of the laps before the crash?
Honestly, it was as simple as three-wide racing all throughout the field, nothing truly notable happened first as the crash took place so early in the race. --

"At the time of his death, Wheldon had been working with IndyCar officials to develop the ICONIC chassis, with the intention of improving safety in the sport." I would perfer you put the citation at the end of the sentence rather than right in the middle. You don't have to do this however.
"Dario Franchitti and Chip Ganassi Racing had been planning to test the 2012-spec Dallara chassis at the circuit in the week following the race." Dario Franchitti and Chip Ganassi Racing have already been linked.
I think this section is needed too. Add the championship standings here. Yes, I know that no points were awarded due to the tragic accident but I think readers will still want to know the standings.
Thanks, @
Good888:, for the reviews of so many motorsports articles. Your reviews are much appreciated. I'll be quite busy tonight and I'm uncertain I'll be able to edit much at all (I have two exams tomorrow and real life comes first for me, of course), but I'll fix these as soon as I can. Regarding Ref 9, I have searched for an archived copy and cannot find one anywhere, which is why the Racing-Reference one is included. Would you like me to remove the ref entirely or tag it with dead link? Thanks, --

Bentvfan54321: I just found one more issue. I think the qualifying section could be expanded a bit. Perhaps you note the drivers that qualified in the top ten? Once that is done I will promote this article to GA class.
