Elections has been postponed already. Ivoiran Electoral Commission stated it is impossible to hold the election this year, due to delays with registration vote. I Suggest to change the name of the page to 2009. Maximiliano -Electoral Calendar —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.9.193.29 ( talk) 09:32, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Elections postponed again.... It will be held in early 2010....but who knows....this is the most delayed election ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.9.194.36 ( talk) 04:20, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
This puts in content to the election section that is not "election" which by precedence sets the results. the lead up to the 2nd round is more relevant to either campaign or something else not as part of the section on results. This lumped everythign into the background and moved issues and pre-election reaction into "election and aftermath." Lihaas ( talk) 08:30, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
We have both sets of percentages in the infobox; can someone find the second set of vote counts and put them in the infobox as well? -- Philosopher Let us reason together. 09:20, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
User:SamB135 started a page 2010 Ivory Coast crisis. This page, with its long historical run-up, is getting long. I am moving post election material to the new article.
Search for "AFP" Agence France-Presse The AFP is the most used source for this page. This news source is financed by the French government. It has a history and reputation as a French government propaganda source. Consider the validity of this source in light of France's involvement in Ivory Coast.
France fought against Ivory Coast. French troops are based in Ivory Coast. France has repeatedly occupied parts of Ivory Coast. The whole history of Ivory Coast has been of struggle to escape from France.
Using the French media as a source is on a par with using Radio Liberty (US CIA funded) as a source on the US war in Vietnam. Incredibly biased propaganda.
I think this whole page should be rewritten and all the dubious stories should be erased. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.124.78.154 ( talk) 08:03, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
