As the results of this conference become available. The agreements for carbon cuts should be added. I think a good idea would be to find out the CO2 for the year each country sets as it's base rate. i.e. if China wants to cut it's 2005 emissions by 20% for 2020, then we should make reference to what those 2005 emissions were.
We don't have anything about the hopes for Copenhagen at the moment. I just read this: "Copenhagen, for me, is a very clear deadline that I think we need to meet, and I am afraid that if we don't then the process will begin to slip" said by Yvo de Boer a year ago. ( source) I think that we could do with a section on what was expected to happen at the conference. Smartse talk

The book How Effective Negotiation Management Promotes Multilateral Cooperation: The power of process in climate, trade, and biosafety negotiations by Kai Monheim discusses and compares the effectiveness and outcomes of the COP 15 and COP 16 summits. Declaration of conflict of interest: I proofread the book (and the PhD thesis it was based on) and also indexed it. JezGrove ( talk) 00:06, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
