This current rally event need more attention and wiki participation. The only user who has edited the correct results of the event was me. The Polish article ( [1]) of 2009 Dakar Rally could be a good example for English Wikipedians... TouLouse ( talk) 19:54, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
So...how're da cars getting to Dakar? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.15.196.94 ( talk) 02:17, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Although they are a great help, I'm not sure they should be visible to casual browsers - is there a way to make them invisible except on the edit page? The Crunchy Nutter ( talk) 07:48, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

In the result for trucks in stage 1, the team of Marcel Van Vliet has a truck mark "GINAF", in stage 2, the same team lists "Kamaz" as their truck make. Assuming they didn't switch truck makes one of the two is probably wrong. Whoever knows which is correct, please fix the other. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.159.97.4 ( talk) 08:24, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Somewhere in Stage 2 (Santa Rosa - Puerto Madryn) Pascal Tarry was found dead (spanish) (french) today. -- ReyBrujo ( talk) 11:06, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Some info should be added about the impact of moving the race from Dakar. 76.66.198.171 ( talk) 12:02, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Trucks do not appear to have competed in stage 7 - can anyone work out a way to show this in the results table? The Crunchy Nutter ( talk) 19:50, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
This only has an African name. It didn't take place in Africa. I was generous in saying it had low African importance. Gallador ( talk) 01:41, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
