Proposed merger of Collins Bailey into this page

Candidates for public office are not by default notable, as per guidelines. Thus, I propose that the page for the candidate Collins Bailey be merged into this page (specifically, with respect to the 5th district), keeping such information as seems appropriate for Wikipedia. I will wait two or three days for comment before acting further. RayAYang ( talk) 00:24, 6 August 2008 (UTC) reply

"Democrat" vs. "Democratic" Party?

I edited the instance mentioned in the 1st district as that is the one I am following most closely. However, isn't it the "Democratic Party", and shouldn't the name of party affiliation follow as such? Karma Heretic ( talk) 03:21, 29 September 2008 (UTC) reply
