I started this article as Rwanda earthquake because the first news were from there. But now we see that the earthquake left several dead and injured in Congo as well. Is it suitable to modify the name of the article? I'd appreciate opinions. -- Tone 18:03, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
I believe the name of the article should be moved to 2008 Lac Kivu earthquake(s), (possibly plural), because of
Therefore, keeping the actual name does not seem appropriate to me. Including the month isn't necessary unless another notable quake will happen in that region later this year. -- Matthiasb-DE ( talk) 13:22, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
I don't have time right this moment, but Lake Kivu has been mentioned in the past as having the same type of deep deposits of gas like Lake Nyos. Earthquakes seem like they could cause an overturn, this one obviously didn't but could have. Anynobody 23:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
