As a follow up to requesting sources above, I'd like to collect as many pages covering the tornado as possible, so we can cite a variety of sources and find the most accurate information.
Here is what I have collected so far:
These are from the External links section:
Supposedly the Salt Lake Tribune did a series on the tornado (linked to from the second link above), but the link no longer works and I can't find it in their archives because it tells me JavaScript is not enabled (it is) and that I need to log in to browse the archives.
There should be several in the Deseret News, if anyone has a link on hand or wants to dig a few articles up. -- Lethargy 19:01, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
I moved "Salt Lake City Tornado" to "Salt Lake City tornado" to comply with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (events). -- Rosiestep ( talk) 23:31, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

The 1999 Salt Lake City tornado was the sixth strong tornado to hit Utah since official tornado records began in 1950 and was one of seven. The first strong tornado in Utah occurred on June 3, 1963 in Bountiful and the most recent was in Manti on September 8, 2002. The strongest tornado to hit Utah was an F3 on August 11, 1993 in the Uinta Mountains.-- Kevjgav ( talk) 01:12, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
according http://www.tornadohistoryproject.com/tornado/Utah/F2/map there was an F2 on June 16, 1955 in Fayette, another F2 in Magna on February 9, 1965 and an F2 in Moab on June 10, 1970.-- Kevjgav ( talk) 04:30, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
Under "Damage," there is a phrase which reads, in part, "...over 120 homes were severely damaged...and 34 homes were severely damaged." I'm not familiar with this topic, so I left this redundancy alone, but better information is needed here. 24.244.23.207 ( talk) 06:54, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
