Most of the article is unreferenced, so I can't even consider it close to GA worthy yet until the rest of the article is referenced. Plus, the refs need to contain accessdates, publishers, titles, etc. Wizardman 20:56, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Why on earth are we showing a photo of Randy Johnson in a Yankees uniform??? — Preceding

I was at the game. I don't recall Langston making the errant cutoff throw, but what I do recall, like it happened yesterday, is Langston sitting on his butt at home plate after missing the tag on Sojo. I was reminded of it when Peyton Manning assumed the identical position in Super Bowl XLIV after Tracy Porter picked him off.
Also, is there an audio link anywhere online for M's announcer Rick Rizzs' now-classic call of the play ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Seattle_Mariners):
“Here's the pitch. Swing, and it's a ground ball, and it gets on by Snow. Down the right field line into the bullpen. Here comes Blowers. Here comes Tino. Here comes Joey. The throw to the plate is cut off. The relay by Langston gets by Allanson. Cora scores! Here comes Sojo...he scores! Everybody scores! Sojo comes in!" - Rick Rizzs —Preceding unsigned comment added by BigshirtXL ( talk • contribs) 18:31, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
