McCarthy was on some ballots as Consumer Party candidate. As he was at one time a major political figure, this ought to be mentioned somewhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.162.253.101 ( talk) 22:31, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the current (color) image has no evidence of being public domain, and is all but certainly going to be deleted. I suggest the image we use for Dukakis if the current is indeed deleted be File:Michael Dukakis (1).jpg. It is a 3x4 crop image that is clear, well oriented, and well-cropped. It is a superior crop to the previous crop of the same original image we were using before the current (color) image was put in place. I wish we had a contemporary color photo of Dukakis proven to be in the public domain. But we have yet to find one. SecretName101 ( talk) 16:26, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

For a while now, the agreed upon image to use for Dukakis has been Option 1. Yesterday, I updated Dukakis' photograph to Option 2. Today, @ Walia32 replaced it with Option 3. I believe 2 is the clear victor, because it's a color photograph, but it is definitely lower resolution than the other two. Obviously, regardless of the settled image for Dukakis, the Bush image should also be cropped to mactch it. I'd like to hear other perspectives and opinions on it, so that we can reach a consensus here.
