Has anyone else noticed exactly how weird this season was? Alma became a major hurricane in June, only a handful of systems have done that. Faith traveled farther than any other tropical system in the Atlantic (though the 1899 storm came close) and only stopped because it ran out of ocean. Inez affected every country in the Greater Antilles and stopped right off Miami Beach and then came back. Finally, Kendra decieved the best tropical cyclone forcasters in the world to become the Atlantic Basin's only named tropical depression. I find that to be a pretty amazing crowd, myself.

...but it was a tropical disturbance east of Florida. One of the reanalysis folks pointed this out. Judging by Ella's track and history, it couldn't have been Ella, so I removed it. Thegreatdr ( talk) 20:44, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm not comfortable enough with my knowledge of this subject to actually make changes, but I would like to point out to anyone who is that... - The "Seasonal Statistics" section, on the right column of the page states there were 17 Total Depressions. - The graphic "Season summary" depicts a total of 16 - The third sentence of the first paragraph after the above graphic states "..fifteen tropical storms formed" 75.110.13.16 ( talk) 14:28, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
